colors of hope and joy, colors of love and abondon... tattered, battered colors... float away silently, gently.. till the final rest...

whats the significance of the image. It seems to me that the flower is floating there for a reason. Otherwise i like the shot and the effect.

@Rags: sometimes we shot just because we like what we see.. there's no deeper meaning attached to it :) thanks for you comment Rags
where do you focus on? think not on the flower.-.- even though, nice concept. :)

@Michael Skorulski: wow.. nice words..
what's your focus on the picture? that's an enigma..to me could be the rose for others the recipients..who cares?..beauty is beauty. I like the colors you choose, for me the magenta represents hope, love and gray old and abandon...nice..

@heidi: aha..finalyy! someone understood!! :P thank you sooo much!!! :)
Great magenta touch on a B&W image. I would just like it even more if it was better focused.

@Alexandros: Thank you so much :) I agree with the focus.. but I have no clue about such technical stuff :P I just take whatever appeals to me .. :) I hope I can improve on it..Thanks for sharing your thought
I like the selective colouring, though it gives me the impression the red has not covered all the area it should have covered. If it had been my picture I would have worked on bringing out the texture of the metal a bit more. Your later pictures with selective colouring are better executed.
